Installing tweetdeck on Fedora 12 and 11
Are you a twitter user? Are you frustrated by the lack of quality amongst the native Linux twitter apps? Do you have to manage multiple twitter accounts or you need to keep track on mentions on some specific term?
If you answered yes to all these questions, I’m sure you’ve already come across tweetdeck. However, if running Fedora 11, I’m sure you’ve probably encountered some installation issues, haven’t you? If all this makes any sense to you, then read on! In this post, I explain why tweetdeck is twitter’s best friend, issues I encountered installing it and what I did to get around them.
